ATCOM PSSM VITAL Pellet
ATCOM PSSM-VITAL Pellet provides horses with PSSM and metabolic sensitivities, as well as horses with high muscle tone, with vital vitamins, minerals, trace elements, and amino acids. Therefore, ATCOM PSSM-VITAL Pellet is specifically designed without flavorings, grains, and added sugar.
To optimally support muscle metabolism, ATCOM PSSM-VITAL Pellet contains particularly high doses of organically bound magnesium (total 5%), manganese, selenium, and natural vitamin E. Furthermore, the qualitative protein supply is improved by the high levels of essential amino acids (5% lysine, 3.1% methionine, 1.5% threonine, 0.4% cysteine). This not only benefits the musculature but also supports hoof quality and the entire immune system. Rice germ oil and L-carnitine complete the formula.
At the same time, ATCOM PSSM-VITAL Pellet supports liver metabolism through its lecithins and B vitamins.
European soils are selenium-deficient!
Since European soils are selenium-deficient, ATCOM PSSM-VITAL Pellet contains the selenium necessary for optimal metabolic function. This element is often demonized, yet it is – in the right amounts – an important trace element. It has been proven to have an antioxidant function and can positively affect skeletal muscles, the liver, reproductive organs, the thyroid gland, and the immune system.

Feeding recommendation for "ATCOM PSSM VITAL Pellet"
Feeding recommendation
20 g ATCOM PSSM-VITAL Pellet per 100 kg body weight of the horse per day.
ATCOM PSSM-VITAL Pellet is a pelleted complementary feed. It should be mixed with the main feed in the specified amounts at each feeding.
Dose ATCOM PSSM-VITAL Pellet as follows:
Daily 20 g / 100 kg body weight / one measuring scoop = approx. 60 g
Note on feeding recommendation
Due to the higher content of additives compared to complete feeds, this complementary feed may only be fed to horses and ponies at up to 20 g per 100 kg body weight per day. Ensure an adequate supply of hygienically sound basic feed. We recommend feeding at least 1.5-2 kg of hay per 100 kg body weight per day, distributed over at least 3 meals per day.
Do I need to feed any other minerals or similar?
ATCOM PSSM-VITAL Pellet is a complementary feed for all-round care, meaning it provides a needs-based supply of all vital minerals, vitamins, trace elements, and amino acids. Therefore, the feeding of additional supplementary feeds can and should be avoided to prevent a nutrient imbalance or oversupply. Please do not feed your horse large amounts of highly mineralized mixed feeds as concentrate.
