freejump Voronoï black glossy
The Voronoï helmet is the only helmet that takes the temporal area into account. The rigid shell protects the temples by absorbing and distributing the shock wave over a large surface. At the same time, it reduces the possibility of hitting the temporal area if the force of the impact were to deform the helmet's peak. The Voronoï helmet thus offers enhanced protection for the skull and temples.
Safety, Comfort, and Lightness
The outer shell of the Voronoï helmet is made of carbon fiber, a high-tech material. Thanks to its layered structure of interwoven fibers, the carbon fiber shell offers exceptional impact resistance while being incredibly light (weight of the Voronoï helmet with low temporal area protection: +/- 650 g). The inner shell of the Voronoï helmet is made of EPS, one of the most absorbent materials on the market. A rib reinforces the structure and ensures above-average compressive strength. Inspired by bicycle and ski helmet technology, Freejump has integrated a polycarbonate plate directly onto the EPS. This in-mold technology of EPS with polycarbonate, combined with the outer carbon fiber shell, provides exceptional impact protection thanks to this 3-layer construction.
Design and Airflow
The ventilation slits of the Voronoï helmet are designed to optimize airflow and enable exceptional thermal regulation. The distinctive geometric pattern that gives the helmet its name is reminiscent of dragonfly wings. Each cell of the Voronoï pattern is carefully positioned to maximize resistance and airflow through the helmet. This optimizes safety, ventilation, and breathability.
A customizable helmet for a unique style
The Voronoï helmet is customizable. You can customize the shell, the in-molding and ear edges, the ventilation slits, and the visor according to your individual style. In addition, the Voronoï helmet is available with or without temporal area protection. The lower part (temporal area protection) of the helmet can be removed and reassembled.
