Myler bits correspond in construction and design to the Myler Level, which in turn reflects the horse's behavior and experience. The various mouthpieces are available from Level 1. These have the strongest effect on the tongue. Level 3 mouthpieces have the least effect on the tongue and offer the most tongue relief. Most horses can skip Level 1, and there is absolutely a possibility that your horse will begin its training with the Myler system at Level 2, 2-3, or even 3.

This mouthpiece is characterized as follows:
- Curved and offers more tongue relief than Level 1 or 2.
- Correction bits have some effect on the tongue. Weymouth bits exert little pressure on the tongue.
- Has more effect on the bars, poll, and chin than Level 1 or 2.
- Is curved and thus creates more space for the tongue.
- Options with and without ISM*. (independent side movement)
