The bits in the Inno Sense line are versatile and particularly suitable for young horses or those with sensitive mouths. The plastic used has been classified as safe by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which means it is free of plasticizers and is safe for both humans and animals. Thanks to the stainless steel core, Inno Sense bits are particularly durable and promote a trusting and supple connection between the horse's mouth and the rider's hand.
The Inno Sense Flexi Soft bits are made of elastic plastic and are extremely flexible because they have a flexible metal core. Due to their flexibility, they are particularly gentle on the horse's mouth and are well accepted by horses. However, they are less suitable for very strong horses.
The Gag Bit encourages the horse to lift its head and is often used for horses that go behind the bit. When the reins are taken up, the mouthpiece slides upwards, causing the horse to feel pressure in the corners of its mouth and on its poll. The bit can be used with one or two reins or with Pelham straps. Most commonly, it is used with two reins, one attached to the bit and the other rein attached to one of the lower rings or to the end of the gag ropes. In this way, the rider can use the gag action only when it is truly necessary. This bit is not suitable for inexperienced riders.
