The bits in the Inno Sense line are suitable for all horses and are especially recommended for young horses or those with sensitive mouths. The synthetic material used has been classified as safe by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), meaning it contains no plasticizers and is harmless to humans and animals. Thanks to a stainless steel core, Inno Sense bits are particularly durable and promote a trusting, smooth connection between the horse's mouth and the rider's hand.
The gag bit encourages the horse to lift its head and is often used for horses that run behind the bit. When the reins are taken up, the mouthpiece slides upwards, and the horse feels pressure in the corners of its mouth and in its poll. The bit can be used with one or two reins or with Pelham straps. In most cases, it is used with two reins, one of which is usually attached to the bit and the other rein is attached to one of the lower rings or to the end of the gag ropes. In this way, the rider can only use the gag action when it is truly necessary. This bit is not suitable for inexperienced riders.
The Inno Sense Tongue Relief Hard is made of synthetic material that is slightly harder than the Tongue Relief Medium. It is barely flexible and offers tongue relief to create space for the tongue and reduce pressure on the center of the horse's tongue. The synthetic material used is FDA-approved, non-toxic, and free of plasticizers, ensuring your horse's safety.
