A remarkable addition to the TRUST equestrian range are the leather bits. The leather bits are handcrafted in the Netherlands. The core of the bit is made of reinforced nylon. The leather stitched around the core has been tanned naturally, without any chemicals. Saliva softens the leather bit, making it more comfortable for the horse. Thanks to its flexible action in combination with the taste of the leather, the bit is exceptionally well-suited for horses with sensitive mouths. Regularly grease the leather bit with olive oil to keep it supple. The seam of the leather bit should face forward (in the direction of riding) when it hangs in the horse's mouth.
