The tongue arch bit features a special, flattened arch shape, providing optimal space for the tongue. Many horses react to this with improved suppleness and increased chewing activity. The bit is also very suitable for so-called "tongue-over-the-bit" horses, as the arch effectively prevents this. This mouthpiece is therefore excellent for horses that dislike conventionally shaped bits due to pressure on the tongue and react with head shaking or similar.
