The bits in the Inno Sense line are suitable for all horses and are particularly recommended for young horses or those with sensitive mouths. The synthetic material used has been classified as safe by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), which means it contains no plasticizers and is harmless to humans and animals. Thanks to the use of a stainless steel core, Inno Sense bits are particularly durable and promote a trusting, supple connection between the horse's mouth and the rider's hand.
The Inno Sense Mullen is a straight bar that bends slightly forward and is made of synthetic material. The mouthpiece has a rigid core, which does not make the Mullen flexible, but the surrounding material gives the bit a pleasantly soft feel. The synthetic material used is FDA-approved, non-toxic, and free of plasticizers, ensuring your horse's safety.
The gag bit encourages the horse to raise its head and is often used for horses that run behind the bit. When the reins are taken up, the mouthpiece slides upwards, and the horse feels pressure at the corners of its mouth and on its poll. The bit can be used with one or two reins or with Pelham straps. In most cases, it is used with two reins, one attached to the bit and the other to one of the lower rings or to the end of the gag ropes. This way, the rider can only use the gag action when it is truly necessary. This bit is not suitable for inexperienced riders.
